A wearer of infinite hats, Clare (she/her/hers) is passionate about exploring space through performance in all its forms. She directs plays, produces podcasts, edits scripts, facilitates new work, and surrounds herself with artists from a myriad of mediums.

 

Clare currently serves as Red Theater's Associate Artistic Director. Recent directing credits include THOSE OF EUROPEAN DESCENT (RhinoFest 2020), Dolores Diaz’s REHEARSAL (NoMads Art Collective) and Anthony Neilson’s STITCHING (BlackLight Theatre; Dublin).

 

In Chicago, she’s worked with TimeLine Theatre, Cabinet of Curiosity, Barrens Theatre Company, Links Hall, Shattered Globe, Prop Thtr, and Theatre Evolve. She teaches a devising workshop that focuses on creating the first draft.  

 

This year, she deadlifted 215 lbs, which felt pretty damn good.
